Diplomático is the name of a series of premium rums that are produced in Venezuela by the Destilerías Unidas. Distilled in copper potstills from molasses, the diploma ático matures in former white oak whiskey barrels. The manufacturer orients itself with these bottlings in the old Venezuelan style with heavy and warm tones.
