Born in Florence in 1878 as Florence Nightingale Graham, she opened her first beauty salon in Fifth Avenue on New York's famed Avenue in 1910 and changed her name to Elizabeth Arden. What she created was revolutionary: precious creams, foundations to match the skin tone, completely new colors for a perfectly coordinated make-up. She created her first fragrance, Blue Grass, in 1935. Elizabeth Arden died in 1966. Her spirit lives on in the precious creations of Elizabeth Arden.
