Friends Rouven Richter, Raphael Heiche and Marcel Eßlinger launched their jointly developed homeland Gin in the spring of 2017. In the Bernhard Richter distillery in Schwaigern, Baden-Württemberg, the Dry Gin is being created with its 18 botanicals, which are predominantly native to the region.
In terms of taste, the Dry Gin clearly stands out from the crowd. The meadow herbs in combination with the fresh apples and pears, provide for a very short moment for a sweetness, which, however, passes directly into a Mediterranean touch. The light juniper bouquet and the pink pepper accompany the finish with a very slight sharpness. In the aftermath, the floral aromas intensify and ensure a very pleasantly smooth taste
The HEIMAT Gin is best to enjoy pure or in combination with a classic tart Tonic Water. As an insert rosemary, sage, thyme or cucumber is suitable.
