In 1924 Anton Kästle made his first pair of skis in his Hohenems workshop and started a unique success story. Toni Sailer, the Epple sisters, Pirmin Zurbriggen, Tom Stiansen and other masters in their field win a total of 132 Olympic and World Cup medals on Kästle Ski.
Kästle became a cult brand - before it surprisingly disappeared from the market in 1998. In 2007 the brand celebrated a brilliant comeback with a group of investors led by Rudolf Knünz and set the standard for an entire industry: Kästle brought construction technologies from racing to the all-mountain area and developed the revolutionary Hollowtech.
