Peter Stuyvesant is a cigarette brand of Reemtsma. The famous slogan, created by the Swiss Fritz Bühler in 1958, reads: "The scent of the big wide world: Peter Stuyvesant". Later, in the 1980s, the slogan was then: "The taste of the big, wide world". The snappy march, which was underlined the advertising, is the Sportsmaster March by Robert Busby (1951). This cigarette brand was named after Petrus Stuyvesant, the governor of Nieuw Amsterdam, later the city of New York City.
