The history of the distillery Psenner begins with its founder Ludwig Psenner, who was born in 1920 near the famous wine village of Tramin. From an early age, he passionately devoted all his energies to learning the art of burning, whose secrets he quickly discovered. Thanks to his natural talents, he put his first water-bath firing-piston into operation at the young age of 27, in order to independently produce grappa: the foundation stone for the distillery Psenner had been laid.
The distillery Psenner brings back from the past a significant genome, which is invested with consistency and passion into the future. Today, the house is characterized by intensive technological development, constant research into new products, a sense of conquering new markets, traceability of raw materials and rigorous quality control.
