This cigar brand is named after the peninsula in the northeastern part of the island of Hispaniola, which shares the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The insert mix consists of four different Cubano de Olor and Piloto Cubano tobaccos. Three of them are native and one comes from Honduras. The binder is in turn from the Dominican Republic, while the cover sheet is a US Conneticut Shade Claro.
With its fine, very mild taste, the Samana is a very well-known and popular cigar, which fits perfectly for beginners and slightly advanced aficionados.
