Holidays & shopping during Corona times
Dear ZEGG guests and customers
We look forward to being there for you and welcoming you to our place. Rest assured that we will do everything we can to protect both your health and that of our employees, while providing you with a great vacation and safe shopping experience. We will continuously train our employees and implement all mandatory and recommended measures of the BAG (Federal Office of Public Health, Switzerland). We are happy to answer the most frequently asked questions in times of Corona below. Please note that we reserve the right to adapt the measures to current requirements at any time.
We are without a doubt in extraordinary times and we experience every day from all sides what solidarity and cohesion mean. Despite the current restrictions, we are preparing as well as possible for the coming period in all areas and behind the scenes - because there will certainly be a time after the standstill and Corana.

Are the shops open?
Valid from January 18, 2021: Please note that due to the new Corona regulations of the BAG (Federal Office of Public Health) we will close some of our shops for personal visit from Monday, January 18, 2021 until probably the end of February and that we will be closing the service « Call & Collect »offer.
Order the items you want by phone or email and make an appointment with us when you want to pick up the goods. The Call & Collect service is possible in any of the ZEGG stores and can be reached during normal opening hours.
Those shops with goods for daily needs will remain open.

How is the stay changing in general? What do you have to consider as a guest / customer?
We try everything to implement the measures accordingly, without us having to restrict you too much. We ask you to adhere to the hygiene and distance rules communicated in the shops, as well as the obligation to wear a mask in public indoor areas for people aged 12 and over, in order to protect your and our health. Please wash and disinfect your hands regularly and keep a distance of 2 meters from people who do not live in your household.
Is there a mask requirement for guests / customers?
Yes! At the moment there is a mask requirement in all interior rooms for guests / customers from 12 years and for all employees.
Can you use the shuttle bus?
The shuttle bus is still available to all ZEGG guests / customers. Again, there is a mask requirement from 12 years, this also applies to the driver.
Are the restaurants and the bar open?
Bars and restaurants in the canton of Graubünden are expected to be closed until February 28, 2021. The following are also allowed:
- Hotel restaurants for hotel guests
- Take-away and delivery service until 10 p.m.
Are there any restrictions in the environment that have to be taken into account?
In Samnaun itself there are no restrictions - on the contrary: Perhaps it is winter 2020/21 of all places, when ideally you can retreat to the diverse and extensive nature of the Grisons mountains. Since the ski area on the Ischgl side will remain closed until further notice and the hotels & restaurants in Ischgl are not allowed to open, you can expect empty slopes that you hardly ever experience during the winter season.
Winter season 2020/21 - protection concept of the Silvretta Arena
The ski season in Samnaun has been open since December 11, 2020 - the preparations for this are in full swing in the Silvretta Arena Samnaun-Ischgl, especially with regard to the protection concepts for Covid 19. What has already worked this summer and autumn applies to us here: We consistently implement the prescribed measures of the BAG and the protection concept of Hotellerie Suisse in order to offer our guests, customers and employees a safe stay.
